Fediverse Social Network

What is Mitra?

Mitra is a micro-blogging social media server built on the ActivityPub protocol. It's part of the Fediverse—a decentralized network where your identity follows you, not the server.

Written in Rust. Lightweight. Built by silverpill with a vision of distributed, user-controlled social media that respects privacy and autonomy.

What We Offer

1. Trustable Docker Images

We build and maintain verified Mitra images ready to deploy. Automated CI/CD from upstream Mitra sources.

  • New releases pushed ~1 day after upstream tags
  • Nightly builds available for testing
  • Reproducible builds with full transparency
  • GPG signed and verified

Note: r3r4um/mitra-web is configured for social.r3r4um.net and not usable outside our instance. Build your own from the mitra-web source.

2. Build Template & Infrastructure

We provide the complete infrastructure-as-code template for running your own Mitra builds. Use our setup as a blueprint or reference.

  • Gitea Actions CI/CD configuration
  • Kubernetes deployment manifests (coming soon)
  • Container build and push automation

Coming soon: mitra-infra repo with full deployment templates.
